Jami Taylor is a professional guitarist with 28 years of playing experience and 17 years performing experience.  She holds a music degree from Utah State University where she graduated with the guitar outstanding student award in Guitar Performance.  A performer with great breadth, Jami has played with Big Bands, Jazz & Bluegrass Combo’s, Classical Ensembles, gigged with a traveling rock band, and has done solo work in Commercial, Classical, Bluegrass, Jazz, and Folk.   She served as a private guitar instructor at Utah State University, and a Group Blues and Group Bluegrass Guitar instructor at Colorado Free University in Denver, CO.  

Since she has been in Salt Lake City, Jami has taught group classes at Draper Arts Academy, the Ability School of Music, and the City Academy.  Currently, Jami is a private instructor and performs solo guitar at weddings, dinners and other events.  A true professional, Jami connects with her audience through her music, her energy, and her enthusiasm.
