"It is important to me to find a way to pass on my knowledge and excitement about playing the guitar.  I do this through teaching private guitar lessons.  My guitar students are very important to me.  Most of my students have been studying with me for many years.   I work diligently to make sure they have a well rounded background and are accomplishing goals that we have created together.  Not only do they learn many different styles, they also perform regularly in guitar recitals and play with others in guitar ensembles.  As your private guitar instructor, I will cater my teaching to your individual needs.  Together, we will go over music styles that you want to learn, or goals that you might have in mind.  In addition to working towards your goals; you will also learn how to read standard music notation, tablature, chords and rhythms.  Most importantly, I will do all that I can to ensure that you have a fun and rewarding experience studying the guitar."
